Privacy Policy — Ribbonly
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Ribbonly is a birthday and gift planner that lives entirely on your iPhone. It has no sign-in, no server of its own and no internet connection to send anything with.
What Ribbonly keeps
The people you add (names, relationships, colors and notes), their birthdays and other occasions, your gift ideas with prices and dates, your budgets and your settings are written to a single file in the app's private storage on your iPhone. Ribbonly never asks to read your contacts, photos or calendar.
What reaches us
Nothing. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking in Ribbonly, and no account, so nobody except you can see what you enter.
Reminders
When you switch reminders on, iOS asks for your permission, and the notifications are then scheduled on the iPhone itself. Switch them off in Ribbonly's Settings or in iOS Settings whenever you like.
CSV export
Export CSV creates a file of your people, occasions and gifts on the iPhone and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes; nothing is sent unless you send it.
Deleting your data
Reset all data in Ribbonly's Settings erases everything you entered. Deleting the app removes it as well.
Children
Ribbonly gathers no information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
